La Baita Basil Pesto 80g
Inland Liguria, in the province of Imperia, at an altitude of 700 meters, lies the La Baita estate, which continues the tradition started by their great-great-grandparents. There, 3,000 century-old Taggiasca olive trees grow, along with a natural orchard where they cultivate basil for their pesto. They irrigate only with spring water from Monte Gazzo, fertilize with natural fertilizers, and harvest by hand, without chemical additives.
This is an authentic Pesto from the Ligurian Riviera: the basil comes from their own organic orchard, and all the ingredients boast noble origins — extra virgin olive oil from their land, red garlic from Vessalico (Slow Food Presidium), mountain Parmigiano Reggiano, and Italian pine nuts.
