Dolmas, also known as dolmades, dolma yalancı, or waraq enab, are given different names due to the long history they share among regions, cultures, and families of the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East.
They are vine leaves (grape leaves) filled and hand-rolled, traditionally with rice, fresh herbs, spices, olive oil, and lemon. As with many ancient dishes, each region—and often each family—has its own recipe.
Ours are vegan, hand-rolled, and take inspiration from both Greek and Levantine traditions. They are enjoyed cold and are a staple of the mezze table, alongside hummus, labneh, and other sharing plates.
